Full description
Embark on an extraordinary journey through Morocco's most magnificent imperial cities, where ancient traditions meet breathtaking landscapes at every turn. This eight-day adventure transports you across the kingdom's most storied destinations, unveiling the architectural splendour, vibrant culture, and natural wonders that have captivated travellers for centuries.
Your odyssey begins in Marrakech, the enchanting Red City, where you'll wander through labyrinthine souks, discover hidden palaces like the stunning Bahia Palace, and feel the magnetic energy of the legendary Jemaa El Fna square. From there, you'll venture northward through Morocco's imperial heartland, visiting the elegant Hassan II Mosque in Casablancaâa masterpiece of Arab-Muslim architecture rising majestically from the seaâbefore reaching Rabat, the capital, where royal monuments and the serene Kasbah of the Oudayas await exploration.
The tour reaches its cultural crescendo in Fez and Meknes, the ancient seats of Moroccan power. Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's oldest continuously inhabited medina, enchants with its medieval charm, intricate medersas, and the sacred Karaouiyine Mosque. Meknes astounds with its legendary 40-kilometre ramparts and the magnificent Bab Mansour gate. A fascinating detour to Volubilis reveals haunting Roman ruins that whisper tales of empires past.
Yet this journey transcends urban splendour. You'll traverse the verdant Middle Atlas mountains, discovering Berber villages and cedar forests, before arriving at the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfallsâa natural marvel where cascading waters plunge 110 metres through emerald valleys and dramatic gorges. The ethereal natural bridge of Imi n'Ifri provides a final touch of geological wonder before your return to Marrakech.
Stay in authentic riads and hotels, savour authentic Moroccan cuisine, and benefit from expert local guidance throughout. This is more than a tour; it's an immersive passage through Morocco's soul, combining imperial grandeur, Berber authenticity, and natural majesty into one unforgettable experience.
