Fes â Azrou â Middelt â Merzouga (camp)
After breakfast, you travel through Mid Atlas Mountains with changing landscape and changing culture toward the desert of Merzouga. We pass through the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, passing by Azrou an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. After the Zad pass (2178m / 7146ft) you arrive in Midelt for lunch. Afternoon you will drive towards Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz Valley. Continuation to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and over night in your luxury desert camp (Merzouga).
Erg Chebbi
Live a full experience desert day. After breakfast, camels are waiting for you for a trek in the red dunes of Erg Chebbi. With your experienced cameleer you will enjoy the serenity and silence of the desert. Before noon, we will leave in 4x4 for an excursion in the desert including lunch. Dinner and 2nd night in your luxury desert camp (Merzouga).
Merzouga â Erfoud â Ifrane â Fes
Early morning in order to see the sunrise, return by camels to the hotel after breakfast departure to Rissani and Erfoud in order to visit the treatment plant marble fossilized before continuing to the beautiful Ziz Valley dotted with palm trees. After lunch we will stop by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, for a visit before reaching Fes at the end of the day.
